MIDTOWN ROW

Midtown is new and unique mixed-use development in Williamsburg, VA, redeveloping the former Williamsburg Shopping Center to create a new retail, residential and entertainment district. The project includes four new mixed-use buildings totaling 350,000 SF of residential and amenity space and over 60,000 SF of ground floor retail space. The development accommodates 640 beds of student housing. Activated brick and glass storefront retail podiums support pre-fabricated modular residential construction above. Above the retail level buildings will be clad with fiber cement panels of varying textures and colors. This project received master planning and architectural design approvals from the City of Williamsburg Architectural Review Board, Planning Board and City Council. Completed while working at Bonstra Haresign Architects. Photos by Anice Hoachlander.
