The client's goal was to add secondary programming to the house in the form of a home office and mudroom, an in-law suite in the basement, update the kitchen and create a more spacious master. This was accommodated by adding a 2-story addition on the foundation of the existing 2-car garage, and creating a mudroom entrance from the existing covered parking at the rear of the house. The second floor bathrooms were combined to add usable space for the clients' 2 daughters. The en-suite spaces were added on the second level of the house with a spacious walk-in closet and master bathroom.
